Puerto Rico has many meanings for me. On the one hand, it's the song by Vaya Con Dios, because I love it very much and dance again and again. On the other hand, it has a Latin and Caribbean feeling, plus the lyrics are a story and I love dancing stories.

I have been to Cuba and hope to visit Puerto Rico one day. This attitude to life, together with the Latin American music and dances, is unique and infectious. In any case, since my visit to Cuba I haven't stopped dancing salsa and other Latin dances.

That's what I would like to tell you here. One fine morning I was river dancing by the river and really enjoyed it. As is often the case, my thoughts wandered elsewhere. And after an hour of dancing in the water, I got out of the river to warm up. Only this time I emerged from the river with a vision. A new video with this song was created in my imagination. I could already see how I would design my frames. I saw which pictures and which video material would fit which song passage. I saw myself walking across the river with my high heels in my hand. So I drove home with my movie in my head. I sat down at the PC at home and started putting my frames together.

Once again I came across the Photoshop program. I took selfies at home with the corresponding outfit. To then arrange this for my river walk. These images were then placed at the appropriate point in the song and I was walking on the water across the river and then dancing in it. Depending on the lyrics, I also placed images from everyday life in order to ultimately make this song visible and give you a visual experience. I hope that some of my passion and emotions reach you.
