The unforgettable 80s: A time of ideologies and protests
And that's Today I would like to take a little trip back in time to the 1980s. It's hard to hide the fact that rivers and lakes have always magically attracted me.
On the rivers and lakes of the 80s
Today I would like to write about a time when screens, i.e. social media, did not dominate our lives. A time when we stood up and stood up for our ideologies with body and soul. A time when we didn't let the mainstream or our parents dictate anything to us. Where we did what we thought was right and important. And we expressed it with our clothes, in protests on the street and in our actions. Loud, determined and happy with colors. Nobody could just scroll away or overlook us. Of course, some people overshot the mark, but we shaped an unforgettable time, the 80s!

I'll let the pictures speak for the vibes of the 80s. The music of the 80s also conveyed our attitude to life and ideologies. Movement and dance were as much a part of our lives as sleeping and eating. And we don't restrict ourselves from anyone.

On Lake Lucerne (Lucerne)
It's hard to hide the fact that rivers and lakes have always magically attracted me. And today I would like to take a little journey back in time to the 1980s. I would like to take you with me into this unique time. A time when we pushed boundaries, broke taboos and freedom was more than just a word for us.
1984 In 1984 I learned how to cook a diet in Aarau and organized a “Klicke” in the Lucerne area, as groups of friends were called back then. Lucerne is an idyllic tourist town on an arm of Lake Lucerne. Full of tourists in summer. Lucerne has a lot to offer, as the hotels on the left bank prove. But we don't care about any of that. We were young and ready to explore the world. We didn't allow
We quickly undressed, threw our clothes in a pile and ran into the water naked except for bikini bottoms Topless, as we call it, was the most natural thing in the world for us and very popular. And despite all the freedom, I was in a committed relationship at the time. We were out in nature a lot and enjoyed our FREEDOM. A freedom that we experienced physically and together. And these experiences connect us of course music and other common interests. We didn't sit in front of any screen, but around the campfire at sunset by the lake. You can unwind there. We were colorful, flashy and uncolored, the way we wanted to be, as far as we could.
Sometimes I ask myself what happened to the friends from back then?

Let yourself be carried away by the river
On another beautiful summer day we rode the motorbikes to the river. Come on, get into the water. So we all took off our clothes and we threw the clothes in a pile and jumped into the water. The river has quite a current and carried us along. So we swam to the bank somewhere further down and then had to run back, so the four of us ran back naked along the river, to the annoyance of some of the dog handlers. But that didn't bother us, we had fun and that was the main thing.estört, wir hatten Spaß und das war die Hauptsache.
I believe that it is precisely these shared real experiences that we had back then that young people today are missing because a lot of things only take place virtually and on a screen

The 80s were characterized by a youth that rebelled against the establishment and raised its voice loudly. It was a time of departure, change and change. Young people no longer wanted to conform to society's norms and values, but instead wanted to live their own ideals. A central element of this time was clothing and individual style. The young people dressed colorfully, unusually and provocatively.
They wanted to make a statement and stand out from the crowd. Punk, New Wave, Gothic and other subcultures emerged and shaped the street scene. Fashion became a means of expression and a way to express yourself. But it wasn't just about appearances. The young people of the 80s were politically active and stood up for their beliefs.
Protests, demonstrations and political activism were commonplace. Whether it was about peace, environmental protection or women's rights - the young people of the 80s were active and loud. They wanted to change the world and were ready to stand up for it.
The 80s were a time of awakening and rebellion. A time when you couldn't just scroll away or miss something. It was a time when you were heard if you were loud enough. The young people of the 80s shaped an unforgettable time that is still remembered today. Today, in a time when social media dominates our lives, we can remember this time and be inspired.
Because even if the type of protest and forms of expression have changed, the message of the young people of the 80s remains relevant: Stand up for your ideals, don't let the mainstream influence you and be courageous to raise your voice.
The 80s were a time of departure, passion and change. A time that showed us that we can help shape the world around us. Let us be inspired by this time and continue to stand up for our beliefs.

An ideology
Nature was our home and protecting it was our duty!
